Bell.- <br /> <br />APPROVED: <br /> <br />Mayor of the <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the communication of the Fire Chief of the City of Spokane <br />relative to the Pacific Coast Association of Fire Chiefs <br />conducting a Fire College in Spokane on August llth to 14th <br />1937, was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "An 0rdinance regulating the use of devices and/or <br /> apparatus which interferes with radio broadcasting <br /> reception, in the City of Santa Ana, repealing all <br /> Ordinances and part of Ordinances in conflict herewith <br /> and providelng penalties for the violation hereof~ <br /> <br />was read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 10~9 and <br />passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees Plummet W. Bruns, Joseph P. Smith, W. H. <br /> Penn, Ernest H. Layton, Fred C. Rowla.nd; <br /> <br /> Trustees None. <br /> <br /> Noes <br /> <br />Absent <br /> <br />Trustees None. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the Mayor was authorized to write a letter, attested by the <br />Clerk, to the President and Secretary of the Electrical <br />Inspector's Association expressing the City's appreciation <br />for selecti~ santa Ana to hold their meeting November 17th, <br />1937, amd offering the use of the Council Chamber and any <br />other facilities available. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Planning Commission and on motion of <br />Trustee Smith, seconded by Brims and carried, the property <br />known as the southeast conner of Bush and 14th Street, bei~ <br />Lot l, Block G, Goodwin's Addition, was ordered posted for <br />apartment house zone and the hsaring date set August 2nd, <br />1937, in accordance ~th the application of E. C.
