Brun~, Joseph P. Smith, <br /> W. H. Penn, Ernest H. Layton. <br /> <br /> Absent: Trustees Fred C. B~wland. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by ~mith and <br />ca~-ied, Trustee Penn was appointed Mayor Pro Tem <br />in the absence of Mayor Rowlamd. <br /> <br />Each Trustee having received a copy of the Minutes, <br />further reading of the Minutes of July 19th, 1957, <br />was dispens~ wit~ and the Minutes approved on motion <br />of Trustee Sml2h, seconded by Bruns and carried. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />E. Cumberworth. <br /> <br />No written or oral protests having been presented~ on motion <br />of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, the applica- <br />tion of E. C. Bell to construct a four family apartment hous~ <br />on the southeast corner of Bush and Fourteenth Street, known <br />as Lot 1 Block G, Goodwin's Addition, was referred to the <br />Planning Commission. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Planning Commission and on motion o~ <br />Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, the applica- <br />tion of E. C. Bell was granted and the City Attoruey instruc- <br />ted to prepare a~ 0rdinanoe changelng the zone on Lot 1, <br />Block G, G0odwin's Addition, from single family residence <br />zone to first class apartment zone. <br /> <br />No written or oral protests having been presented, on motion <br />of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, the applica- <br />tion of H. E. Martin to construct a duplex on the north side <br />o'f Bishop Street between Flower and Shelton Streets, known <br />as Lot 12, N~rse Villa Tract, was referred to the Planning <br />Commis si on. <br /> <br />In conformity with the recommendation of the Planning 0ommis- <br />sion and on motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and <br />carried, the application of H. E. Martin to construct a <br />on Lot 1~, Morse Villa Tract, was granted. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />A written protest with fourteen signatures was Presented <br />against the application of M. P. 0umberworth to erect a <br />at 1011 N. Flower Street and on motion of Trustee Bruns, <br />seconded by Smith'and carried, the application of M.P. <br />worth was referred to ~he Planning 0ommission. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />the application of M. P. Oumberworth to erect a duplex, at <br />1011 N. Flower Street, was granted for special use subject to <br />a 20 foot set-back from the property line as recommendad by <br />the Planning Commission. <br /> <br /> <br />
