On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, the application of l~rs. G. V. Linsenbard for permission to conduct a pottery shop in her home, 415 W. First Street, was referred to the Planning Commission. On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by B~una and carried, the application of llrs. G. V. Li~ enbard together with fee of $5.00 filed for posting of property was ordered returned to the applicant and the Clerk instructed to issue a tempora- ry permit to ~rs. Linsenba~d to conduct a pottery shop. # On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by B~uns and carried, the application of Jesus Alfa~o for a permit to operate a g~ocery store at 1224 E. Third Street, was referred to the Planning Commission. On motion of Trustee Layton, seco~ed by Bruns and carried, the communication of E. B. Noritz requesting the withdrawal of. his application to construct a building for foundry on Lots 22, ~.3, 12 and 15, Block F of Santa Aha Tract, was referred to the Planning Commission. On recommendation of the Planning Commission and on motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by B~uns and carried, the request-of E. B. Noritz to wlthd~aw his application to construct a foun- dry, was accepted. # Om motion of Trustee B~une, seconded by Smith and carried, the application of D. R. Dlckson to erect a ~uplex on the west side of Lowell Street sou~h of Tenth Street, was referre~ to the Planning Commission. On recommendation of the Planning Commission and on motion of Trustee Smith, seconded Bruna and carried, the property des- cribed as the west side of Lowell Street south of Tenth Street was ordered posted for special use when the proper legal description is furnished by D,R. Dickson to erect a duplex and the hearing date set August 16th, 1957. # On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, the application of V. J. Anderson for a change in zone to pe~ mit the construction of apartments and auto courts at llll E. First Street for Eddie Baum, was referred to the Planning Commis si on. On recommendation of the Planning Commission and on motion of T~ustee Bruns, seconded by smith and carried,the property described as Lots 9, 10, and the west one-half of LOt ll, Block F, Santa Aha Investment Tract No. 1, was ordered posted for special use and the hea~Ing date set August 16th, 1937, in accordance with the application of V.J. Anderson to con- struct apartments and auto courts for Eddie Baum.
