Packard to enforce Ordinance No. 1049 regulating interfering with radio broadcast. # On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, the Mayor was authorized to sign the City's approval for the continuation of the following W.P.A. Projects: Codify and Classif~ City Ordinances, Storm Drains West 17th Street, Complete Channel Excavation--Santiago Creek and Repairs and Improvements, Santa Aha Streets and '1~11 Call: Ayes Trustees Pl,,m~er W. Bruns, Ernest H. Layton, W. H. Penn, Noes, Trustees Joseph P. Absent, Trustees Fred C. Smith. Rowland. On motion of Trustee Bruna,$econded by Layton and carried, the City Council a~ourned to Monday, August 9th, 1937, at 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers. Cl~y ~lerk. Council Chambers Santa Aha City Hall. August 9th, 1937. 7:30 P.M. City Council met in regular adjourned session. Meeting called to order by the City Clerk. Present: Trustees Plummet W. Bruns, Joseph P. Smith, W. N. Penn, Ernest H. Layton. Absent: Trustees Fred C. Rowland. On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Penn and carried, Trustee Smith was appointed Mayor Pro Tem in the absence of Mayor Rowland. In Re Executive Meeting Or. Co.League of Municipalities. In Re Application Seventh Day Adventist Churches. Mayor Pro Tem Smith appointed Trustee Penn to represent the City of Santa Aha, in the absence of Mayor Rowland, at the regular executive committee meeting of the Orange County League~ Municipalities to be held August 12th, 1937, at 6:4§ P.M., at Daniger's Tea Room, Banta Ana. . On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconied by Penn and c~rried, the request of S. T. Borg, Pastor, for a permit to solicit funds in the City for uplift work in behalf of the Santa Aha · Seventh Day Adventist Churches, English and Spanish, was · referred to the standing committee with power to act. #
