On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Penn and carried, application of ~oy J. Goodale for permission to solicit from house to hotme and pick up-old clothing, magazines and newspapers, and store same not more than two days, at 1049 West Chestnut St., was denied. # On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Layton and carried, the following applicatiomto hang electric signs were granted under the supervision and recommendation of the Electrical Inspector at the following location's: Electrical Prod. Corp. to hang sign for Southern Counties Gas Co. at 207 West Second St. Santa Aha Neon Co. to hang sign for S~D.Byrd at Powell Neon Sign Co. to hang sign at 514 N. Main St. for Chicago College of Beauty. # On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Penn and carried, at the request of E.C.Gates, Fire Marshal, special permit issued to Matt LuJan on January 4th, 1937, to conduct and operate motion picture equipment at 401 Central Ave. Delhi, was revoked and terminated. # On motic~ of Trustee Penn, seconded by Layton and carried, and c~ recommendation of City Auditor, communication received from W.T .Lambert, County Auditor, advising that taxable valuation of Ci~ of Banta Ana for 1937-58 is $24,509,100, was received and filed. # On motion of Truatee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, City of Orange Resolution No. 662 Authorizing Negotiations for Withdrawal From Joint Outfall Sewer District, was referred to City Attorney.
