Whereupon Trustees Layton and Bruns consented that the first motion might be amended in accord- ance with the proposed amendment. On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, the committee previously appointed on parks consisting of Trustees Bmith and Penn in addition to Trustee Layton and Purchasing Agent Banks were authorized to investigate or make a survey of additional sites in the southeast and southwest part of the City for a park or park sites as to price, loca- tion and acreage involved. Each Trustee having received a copy of the Minutes, ~urther reading of the Minutes of September 20th, 1937, was dispensed with and the Minutes approved on motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried. ~nRe Application W. C. Kester. In Re Communication Or. Ce.Native Bone & Daughters. On motion of Trustee Layton, seconied by Penn and carried, the wl~Jadrawal of the application of W. C. Kester, was grant. requesting a permit to construct a twelve unit auto court immediately south of 2415 N. Main Street. # On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, the comm,mication of Tom GiBlet, Chairman of Committee of Orange County Native Sons and Daughters of the Golden West expressing appreciation for the cooperation of finance and good will extended toward the Orange County entry in the Admission Day parade at Santa Monlca, was received, acknow- ledged and filed. #
