In Re Application E~mett ~. Rogers. In Re Application Julian Helm. In Re Application James G. Smith. In Re Application W. C. Kester. # On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, the application of Emmett C. Rogers for a permit to construct a duplex at 1302 N. Bristol Street described as the south 48 feet of Lots 41 and 42, Tract 758, was referred to the Planning Commission. On recommendation of the Planning Commission and on motion of Trustee Bruna, seconded by Penn and carried, the property described as the south A8 feet of Lots 41 and 42, Tract 758 and hearing date set October llth, was ordered posted for special use/in accordance with the application of Emmett C. Rogers. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Layton and carried, the application of Julian Helm for Permission to erect a duplex on Lot 17, Block E, Tract 139, was referred to the Planning Commission. On recommendation of the Planning Commission and on motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Penn and carried, the property described in the application of Julian Helm to erect a duplex was ordered posted for special uae and the hearing date set October llth, 1937. On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, the application of James G. Smith for permission to construct a four unit apartment building on the northeast c0~ner of Eighth and Garnsey and also a four unit apartment building on the northwest corner of Eighth and Garnsey Street, was refer- red to the Planning Commission. On recommendation of the Planning Commission and on motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Smith and carried, the proper2~es known as the northeast corner and the northwest corner of Eighth Street and Garnsey were ordered posted for first class apartment house district and the hearing date set October llT~ On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Smith and carried, the application of W. C. Kester for a permit to erect ~ twelv, unit auto court on property lying immediately east of the Gilmore Oil Company's distributing plant fronting Santa Aha Boulevard, was referred to the Planning Commission. The motion of Trustee Bruns to accept the recommendation of the Planning Commission and deny the application of Kester was lost for lack of a second. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Layton and carried, a committee consisting of T~ustee Penn and Bruns was appointe, to confer with the Planning Commission with reference to the application of W.C.
