Hall <br />Dec. 31st, 1948, was granted subject to certain conditions: that <br />Clerk contact Mr. Joe Miller, at M~W~Hall to determine if hall <br />will be available on that date and that hours of dancing be from <br /> <br />8:30 P.M. to midnight. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, <br /> <br />request of Antonia Mendez for <br /> <br />seconded by Reed and carried, <br />permission to operate pool hall at <br /> <br />2309 South Main Street was referred to Trustee Mandy and Chief of <br />Police for recommendation and report back. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Reed and carried, <br />notification of the State Board of Equalization of alcoholic <br />beverage application made by Truman R. Claridge, Orval M. and <br />,Myrtle R. Kuykendall, 2321 N. Main St., was received and filed. <br />On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Reed and carried, <br />application of Dan W. McDonald to drive taxicabs was granted and <br />~,ermit ordered issued. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by MandY and carried, <br /> <br /> Vic and Marion Silver were granted two alternatives to correct <br /> the situation on the construction of their building at 408-07 W. <br /> 17th St., which is located on 18 inches of City property; namely, <br /> to ~emove building immediately, or to enter into written <br /> with City, subject to approval of City Attorney, that building <br /> will be removed from City's property at owner's expense within <br /> sixty days after written notice and such agreement to be recorded <br /> in County Recorder's office. <br /> <br /> <br />
