<br />seconded by Chandler and carried, the bid of American Cast Iron
<br />Pipe Co. was accepted covering furnishing of 5,000 ft. 12" cast
<br />iron pipe at (~3.749 per ft. smd 5,000 ft. 8" cast iron pipe at
<br />!~.186 per ft. an8 portion of bid of National Cast Iro~ Pipe Co.
<br />was accepted covering furnishing of only 18,000 ft. 6" cast iron
<br />pipe at ~!1.68 per ft. and ~uditor authorized to issue purchase
<br />order.
<br />
<br />Comnunication was read from Secy. Forestry Board advising that
<br />action was deferred on matter of removal of trees at 1418 So.
<br />Main St. pending reply from State HiEhway Department.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by ~andy and carried,
<br />communica~ion was received and filed and City Attorney iustruct, d
<br />to notify Attorneys Harvey, Rtmel & Johnston of progress of this
<br />
<br />matter.

<br />Communication was r<ad from Secy. Forestry Board relative to
<br />request that bottle trees in the 1800 block No. Ross St. be
<br />replaced with plumosa palms and advising that such request was
<br />granted.
