On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Mandy and carried, the report of the City Engineer that the sidewalk in front of 2116 Cypress Ave. was repaired on the 25th day of March, was received and filed. On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and ca~ried, Clerk was instructed to notify James E. Serven that upon investigation by the City Engineer, he reported that the Railway Express Agency has a loading dock in the rear of their place of business, and it was decided that a loading zone was not necessary at the curb. On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Chandler and carried, the request of the Elk's Lodge for a Loading Zone in front of their club house, 510 N. Sycamore St., was denied. On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Mandy and carried, com- munication of Rainbowriter's Guild Service submitting plan for fresh water conservation and fire hazard elimination, was received and filed. On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Mandy and carried, the re- quest of the National Automobile Club for permission to install a double-faced enamnel trade mark sign, at 313 W. 17th St., was re- ferred to the City Attorney for study of the Sign Ordinance and report back at the next meeting on the legality of the sign. On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, the which would include the Mayor Mayor was authorized to appoint a committee/to study the Auction Ordinance, and report back at the next meeting.
