Council Chamber Santa Ana City Hall April 19, 1948 7:30 P.M. City Council me.t in regular session. Meeting called to order by Mayor Smith. Present: Trustees W.J. Cheney, Courtney R. Chandler, Allen A. Mandy, Virgil H. Reed, R.Carson Smith. Absent: Trustees None Each member of the. City Council having received copies of the Minutes of April 5th, 1948, further reading of the Minutes was dispensed with and approved on motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried. In Re Bids No. Flower St. btn. Sixth & Eighth Sts. On motion o£ Trustee Reed, seconded by Nandy and carried, the minutes of the Executive Board of the Joint 0utfall Sewer meeting In Re Disaster Council Organization held at Anaheim Aprll 1, 1948, were approvsd and filed. Communication from Gov. Earl Warren, was read with reference to Dtaaster Council organizations and mutual aid contracts between cities and counties. On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Mandy and carried, communication was referred to the l~ayor, Attorney and Chief of Police, to check existing ordinances, reply to communication and reoort back.
