<br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Cheney arrd carried, the re~

<br />quest of Joseph P. Koral for the improvement of street conditions
<br />
<br />~on Cypress Street and Flora Street, was received and filed; the
<br />Engineer having reported that certain improvements had been made.
<br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Mandy and carried, the
<br />
<br />request of the National Automobile Club, for permission to install
<br />
<br />the sign at 313 W. Seventeenth Street, was denied, same being in
<br />
<br />violation of the Sign Ordinance, and the Building Inspector was
<br />
<br />instructed to notify the Automobile Club of Southern California t~
<br />
<br />remove its sign in front of its office.
