On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Reed and carried, reques of Chairman, Santa Ana Police Benevolent Association for use of street flag decorations for a period of about two or three week~ previous to Annual Police Show, was denied. Communications were read from Sec. Planning Commission reference street design on 17th and Bristol Sts. adjoining Santa Aha College property and recommending that sidewalk be placed at least as far from the curb as property line will permit, and from Lydia C. Davis refeEence location of sidewalk along W. 17t! St., in front of College. On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried, communications were received, filed and Chair authorized to appoint a committee to investigate and report back. Trustees Cheney, Chandler, City Engineer and Planning Consultant were ~ppointed. A petition was read signed by three residents in the 300 block Occidental Street requesting that street light be installed at corner of Occidental and Maple Streets. On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Cheney and carried, Chai~ authorized to appoint a committee to investigate and report back Trustee Cheney and~City Engineer were appointed. ,n was
