On motion cf T~ustee Reed, seconded by Cheney and carried, the application cf Laguna Beach Santa Ana Stage Lines for authority to increase passenger fares between Santa Aha, Costa Mesa, Newport .Beach, Laguna Beach and intermediate points in Omange County, was received and filed. # On motion of Trustee ~eed, seconded by Chandler and carried, request of Bullock's, 935.Santiago Street, for adequate street lighting at Stafford and Santiago Streets, was referred to the City Engineer with power to act.. . On motion of T~ustee Chandler, seconded by Reed and carried, ~equest of Alpha Beta Market, 1010 South Main Street, for permlssl to remove an ll ft. cu~bing.was referred to a committee with power to act. Trustee Cheney and City Engineer, were appointed, as committee. On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Cheney amd carried, the request to remove curbing was gu'anted. # On motion of T~ustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried, request of M~-s. F. LBsggess that a red light, or a "stop and go" sign be installed at Broadway and Tenth Streets was referred to a committee to investigate and report back. Chief of Police and City Engineer, were appointed, as committee. # On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried, mequest of.M.M.Thomson, 410 West Fifth Street that adequate pack- ing facilities be provided for his ambulance, was referred to a committee to investigate and report back. Trustee Cheney and City Engineer, were appointed as committee. . On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Cheney and carried, request of Carlyle Dennis for a 40 or 50 foot driveway into their proposed buildin~ site at the southeast corner of Second and French Street was referred to a committee for recommendation. Trustee Cheney and City Engineer, were appointed, as committee. Communication was read from Romella V. Caldera objecting to loud playing cf music box at the La Conga Cafe, 1724 West Fourth Stree and on motion of T~ustee Reed, seconded by Cheney and carried, matter was referred to the Chief of Police with inst~uctions to follow up and see that the condition is corrected. ~n
