Patmor, <br />Assistant Building Inspector, retired as of November 30~h, 1950~ <br />The motion~of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney to approve the <br />recommendation of the Bldg. Scott, on the resurfacin <br />of West Fifth Street from Baker to Garnsey Streets were rejected <br />due to the fact that bids were received after the time set out in <br /> <br />the Notice Inviting Bids. <br /># <br />On motion of Trustee Martin, seconded by Reed and ca,tied, <br />certified copy of Minutes of the Board of Supervisors, dated Nove <br />21, 1950, advising that Purchasing Agent was authorized to roof <br /> <br />building at Pistol Range, was received and filed. <br /># <br />On motion of Trustee Martin, seconded by Reed and carried, request <br />of Haven Seed Co. that approach from Edinger Street to their <br />property at 910 W. Edinger Street be put back in the condition <br />which it was prior to the recent change of grade and paving on <br />this street, was referred to Trustee Cheney and City Engineer with <br />~ower to act. <br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Cheney and carried, the <br />recommendation of the Recreation Commission was approved that full. <br />time employees cf the Recreation Department be granted the Council' <br />cost-of-living increase of $15.00 per month beginning November 1, <br /> <br />1950 through June 30th, 1951. <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Martin, seconded by Reed and carried, the <br />request of Everett E. Parks and Gates W. Burrows, Associated <br />Architects, that a soil test be taken of proposed Fire Department <br />Headquarters site on West Third Street between Broadway and Birch <br />Streets, was referred to Building Inspector and Purchasing Agent <br /> <br />with power to act. <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Martin, seconded by Reed and carried, <br />communication from Department of Finance stating that the City has <br />a balance not yet applied for of $2,882.90 for plans preparation <br /> <br />S <br /> <br /> <br />
