T~ustee Chandler, Attorney, Recreation Director and Park Superintendent, were ap- pointed as committee. . On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Martin and carried, notifications of the State Board of Equalization of alcoholic beverage applications made by Anthony J. and Marie E. Ciarlone, 801 E. let St., Ramon A. Prado, 701 E. 1st St., and Josephine A. and Tiburcio Bilboa, 522 No. Main St., were received and filed. On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Martin and carried, the applications of Louis W. Danforth and Frank J. S teinmetz, to drive taxicabs were granted and permits ordered issued. # A petition was read signed by seventeen residents in the 2100 and 2200 blocks South Patton Street requesting that an overhead light be installed at the intersection of Anahuret Place and Patton Street. On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Martin and carried, request was referred to a committee with power to act. City Engineer, was appointed, as committee. Communication was r~ad from City Engineer stating that the exist- ing overhead lights between Flower and King Streets were installe~ before a number of the newer streets were opened onto Seventeenth Street and requesting authority to install tu.:o additional overhead lights and rearrange the others to fit the intersection. On motion ~of Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, request was granted. Communication was read from Park Superintendent recommending that a private stU~veyor be employed to establish the proper line to set the fence at City Nursery at Delhi Road and Halladay Street, and on motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried, request was granted. # On motion of Trustee Martin, seconded by Reed and carried, the report of the Police Department for the month of March, 1950, was received and filed.
