<br /> and treatment plant for disposal of sewage for sanitary sewer
<br />
<br /> system of the Sant~,~ Aha Army Air Base, was received and filed.

<br /> On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried,
<br /> Resolution from City of Fullerton authorizing the employment of
<br /> Koebig and Koebig to examine the design, plans, specifications,
<br /> cost estimates and capacity rights of the Magnolia trunk line of

<br /> the Joint Ou~tfall Sewer, was received and filed.

<br /> On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried,
<br /> request of Veterans of Foreign Wars to conduct annual Poppy Sale

<br /> of California National Guard to establish a recruiting booth at
<br /> Fourth and Main Streets, May ll, 12 and 13, and to sponsor an
<br /> exhibit of the "Flying Saucer", was granted.

<br /> On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Martin and carried,
<br /> request of Santa Ana City P.T.A. Council to sell soft drinks and
<br /> ice orea~n in Santa Ana Memorial Park during dedication ceremonies,
<br /> May 20th, was granted.

<br /> On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Reed and carried,
<br /> request, of Conrad J. Hanson, Resident Manager, Casa de Santa Ana,
<br /> for a military leave of abRenoe, August 13th to August 27th, 1950,
<br /> was granted.

<br /> Communication was read from Recreation Superintendent extending
<br /> invitation to Council to participate in Annual Softball Opening
<br /> Ceremonies, at Municipal Bowl, May let, and on motion of Trustee
<br /> Chandler, seconded by Martin and carried, invitation was accepted
<br /> and communication filed.

<br /> International Association for Identification Conference to be held
