On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Martin and carried, the Minutes of the Executive Board of Joint Outfall Sewer Meeting hel~ at Anaheim, April 6, 1950, were received, approved .and filed. On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Martin and carried, requsst of Lt. Col. Emmett A. Rink that certain information be furnished in order that a lease for Armory site may be prepared for approval of Adjutant Generalls office, was meferred to a committee for recommendation, prepare necessary forms .and to' report back. Trustee Chandler, City Attorney and Park Super- intendent, were appointed, as committee. On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Martin and carried, request of Recreation Superintendent that he be excused from attending Council meeting May 155h, and reque~,ting permission to leave the State May 14th to 17th inclusive, were granted. On motion of Trustee Martin, seconded by Reed and carried, the application of Wallace B. Dominguez to drive taxicabs, was granted and permit ordered issued. On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Reed and carrie~, reports of Building Department and Judgels office for April, report of Recreation Department for third quarter 1949-50 fiscal year, and statement of receipts and disbursements for period Dec. l, 1949 to March 31, 1950 for Casa de Santa. Ana, were received and filed. On motion of Trustee Martin, seconded by Reed and carried, proper authorities were authorized to execute agreement between County of Orange, City of Santa Aha and other cities therein named for the payment on .a percentage basis for teletypewriter service, such agreement being dated April ll, 1950. On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Martin and carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and variance granted to Bessi.e Martin to permit construction of a duplex on front portion of property located at 906 South Birch St subject to certain conditions. On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Martin and carried, Resolution amending and correcting Resolution No. 3666 reference salary of Pou.~dmaster and stating that $25.00 per month of s~lary shall be held by the City as rental value of house furnished Pound[master was tabled,and Engineer instructed to furnish full report of origin and ownership of house.
