On motion of T~ustee Reed, seconded by <br />Chandler and carried, the City Attorney was instructed to prepare <br />necessary application to the Southern Pacific Railroad to eetabli~ <br /> <br />a railroad crossing at this location. <br />. <br />Communication was read from Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Co., <br />requesting that action on proposed abandonment of that portion of <br />Greenleaf Street between Santa Clara and Bonnie Brae be withheld <br />until.satisfactory easements are obtained from the abutting prop- <br />erty owners, and on motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Reed <br /> <br />and carried, communication was received and filed. <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Cl~ndler, seconded by Martin and carried, <br />request of W.J.Cheney for permission to leave the State beginning <br /> <br />June 9th through July 1st, 1950, was granted. <br />, <br />Communication was read from Secy.
