the 2nd day of Aug., 1924, and now on file therein; and W~EREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha wes duly in regular session at the Council Chamber thereof at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. of Monday, the 25th day of August, 1924, same being the day, hour and place nsmed in the Resolution of Intention and Notice of Public Work, when and where any and all persons having any objections to the proposed public work or improvement might appear before the Board of Trustees, and show csuse why said proposed Improvement should not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution of In- tention; end WHEREAS, ell protests or objections presented hav- ing been disposed of, overruled and denied in time, manner and form ss required by law, City of Santa Aha having now the proposed improvement, it and the Board of Trustees of the acquired Jurisdiction to order is hereby:- RESOLVED AND ORDERED, that the public interest and convenience requires the work hereinafter described, and the Board of Trustees of the Cit~ of Santa Ana hereby orders the following work to be done and improvement made in the City of Santa Ana es follows: That certain streets in said City of Ssnta Ana be vacated and abandoned as follows: Ail that portion of Grove Avenue lying between the East line of Valencia Street and the West line of Santiago Avenue; and also, thee portions of Virginis Avenue lying be- tween the East line of Valencia Street and the West line of Santiago Avenue, and between the West line of Valencia Street and the West line of Tract No. BVB, all in accordance with a map of Tract No. 8V~ on file tu Miscellaneous Map Book 19, page 40, Hecords of Orange County, California. The public work ordered and the improvement to be made is for the purpose of closing up and abandoning certain streets, and for that reason no district is chargeable there- with. All of the~.herein proposed work shall be done in pursuance of an Act of the Legislature of the State of Cali- fornia, designated ~treet Opening Act of 1889, and amendments thereto. For further particulars, reference is hereby made to said Resolution of Intention No. 1314, which is dated the 28th day of July, 1924, and on file with the Clerk of the City of Santa Ans. The Clerk of the City'of Santa An~ is herewith in- structed to record a copy of this Resolution O~dering 'Improve- ment, in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Orange.
