grading shall be done in accordance wltb the plans and specifi- <br /> cations hereinafter referred to. <br /> <br /> 2. The grading of driveways to a subgrsde five (5) <br />inches below the finished grade where such driveways are shown <br />on the plans to be paved. The grading to extend fro~ the <br />street face of the curb line to the street edge of the side- <br />walk and for the full width of the driveway, and the construc- <br />tion on said submrade of a five (5) inch Portland Cement Con- <br />crete pavement. <br /> <br /> 3. The excavation for and the construction of ce- <br />ment curbs on portions of the above described street where <br />the same have not already been constructed as shown on the <br />plans and in accordance with the specifications. <br /> <br /> 4. The excavation for and the construction of ce- <br />ment sidewalks on portions of the above described streets <br />where the same have not already been constructed, excepting <br />therefrom that portion of the street on the North side from <br />the West line Sf Tract No. 384 to the Pacific Electric Rail- <br />road, as shown on the plans, and reference is hereby made to <br />the plans for a more detailed description of the location of <br />said sidewalk. <br /> <br /> 5. The excavation for and the construction of rein- <br />forced concrete extensions to the concrete culvert located <br />between the Engineer's station 18+U2 and lS+~V.~, extending <br />each end of the said culvert to the property lines of the <br />above described street, in the place and in ,ccordance with <br />the plans and detailed drawings and so forth, hereinafter re- <br />ferred to for details in full. <br /> <br /> 6. The excavation of trenches aoproximately six <br />and one-half (8~) feet in depth, and the laying therein of <br /> <br /> (83) four (4) inch house connecting sewer exten- <br /> <br />sixty-three <br />stons. <br /> <br /> V. <br /> <br /> The excavation of trench approximately seven <br />(V) feet in depth and the laying therein of one (1) eight <br />(8) inch stub sewer in accordance with the plans and speci- <br />fications. <br /> <br /> Excepting from the work above described any of said <br />work already done to grade upon West Fifth Street, and excep- <br />ting further from the above described work other than sewer <br />trenches the portion thereof within any area which is required <br />by law to be kept in order and repair by any person or company <br />having railroad tracks on any of the above described streets. <br /> <br /> PLANS, PROFILES, CROSS-SECTIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br /> <br /> SECTION II. All of the foregoing work is fully set <br />forth, delineated and described on plans, profiles and <br />sections on file in the office of the City Egnineer, and speci- <br />fications for Assessment District No. 89, on file in the office <br /> <br /> <br />
