294 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION No. 1496. A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO ORDER THE PAVING AND OTHERWISE IMPR~ ING OF A PORTION OF SOUTH VAN NESS AVENUE WITHIN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA; DECLARING THE SAID WORK OR IMPROVEMENT TO BE OF ~ORE THAN LOCAL OR ORDINARY PUBLIC BENEFIT; DECLARING THE DISTRICT TO BE BENEFITED BY sAID WORK AND IMPROVEMENT, AND TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY THE COSTS AND EX- PENSES THEREOF; DETERMINING THAT BONDS SHALL BE ISSUED TO REP~ RESENT SAID COSTS AND EXPENSES; AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OBJECTIONS TO SAID WORK OR IMPROVEMENT, OR TO THE EXTENT OF THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED, OR BOTH. The Board of Trustees of fornia, pursuan2 to the provisions 1911, and the Improvement Bond Act said Acts, do resolve as follows: the City of Santa Ana, Call- of the Improvement Act of of 1915, and amendments to SECTION I. That the public interest and convenience require, and it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the City of ~anta Ana, California, to order the construction of the following described work and improvement, all within said City, to-wit: In, on and along the roadway of the following des- cribed portion of street South Van Ness Avenue to the North line in the City of Santa Ana, to-wit: Avem~e fro~ the South line of Fairview of Tract No, 382, and where any street or ,lley intersects or terminates in any of the above described portion of street in, on and along which work is to be dSne and impr~ement is to be made, then beyond the curb line and across the sidewalk reservations to the property lines thereof; and where any driveways intersect or terminate in any of the above described portions, of street in, on and along which work is to be done and improvement is to be made, t~en beyond the curb line and across~ the sidewalk reservations to the property lines thereof. The work and improvement on the above described por- tions, el roadway is more particularly described as follows: 1. The grading of all of the above described por- tions of street to a subgra~e six (6) inches below the finished grade, and the construction on said subgrade of a six (6) inch Portland Cement Concrete pavement from curb line to curb line, and where cross-streets or alleys intersect or terminate as shown on said plans along said street, the grading and paving to extend beyond the curb lines an8 across the sidewalk reser-- vattons to the property lines or extensions thereof.
