RESOLUTION NO. 1535 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF STREET IMPROVEMENT BONDS PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION OF INTENTION N0.1429, DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF UNPAID ASSESSMENTS, PRESCRIBING THE DENONINATION OF SUCH BONDS~ AND PROVIDING FOR THEIR ISSUANCE WHEREAS, pursuant to statute, notice of filing list of unpaid assessments was duly given in the manner and fc~m required by law, that the warrant, assessment and diagram re- ~orded on the 2nd day of June, 1925, for the work and improve- merit made by Griffith Co., under that certain contract awarded to it on the 16th day of March, 1925, on Kilson Drive, Bishop Street and Wakeham Avenue, and that said warrant, assessment and diagram were returned to the Street Superintendent of said City, together with a written statement of all payments re- ceived upon the said assessment, and after the Oall expiration of twenty (20) days from the date of said warrant, the Street Superintendent duly made and filed with the City Clerk of said City of Santa Ana, a complete list of all assessments unpaid upon the said assessment, which list is now on file in the of- lice of the City Clerk of said City, now upon evidence shown this Board determines that the assessments therein mentioned were then unpaid, the total aggregate thereof being the sum of Eight Thousand, Four Hundred Sixty-three and 30/lOOths ($8,463.30) Dollars, and that assessment number 40, aggregatin the sum of Fourteen and 80/lOOths ($14.80) Dollars has since been paid, and that there now remains unpaid the sum of Eight Thousand, Four Hundred Forty-eight and 50/lOOths ($8,448.50) Dollars upon the assessments shown upon said list. Reference is hereby made to Resolution of Intention No. 1429 of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana, passed the 16th day of February, 1925, for a complete descrip- tion of the work herein mentioned, and to the list of unpaid assessments filed as above noted, for the assessments unpaid. AND WHEREAS, interested persons were notified in the manner required by law to appear before the Board of Trustees of the said City of Santa Ana, California, in the Council Cham- bet of the City Hall. of said City, at the hour of V:30 o'clock P.M. of Monday, the 6th day of July, 1925, and show cause why bonds should not be issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments shown on said Street Superintendentts list; and ~VHEREAS, notice was duly given in the manner and form required by law that serial bonds to,represent unpaid as- sessments bearing interest at the rate of six (6%) per cent per annum will be issued hereunder in the manner provided in the "Improvement Bond Act of 1918", the last installment of which bonds shall mature nine years from the 2nd day of July, next succeeding ten (10) months from their date.
