RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK No. 1600 WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana, on the 16th day of November, 1925, passed its Resolution of Intention No. 1590, to order the hereinafter described work to be done and improvement to be made in, on and along a portion of English Street and West Eighth Street in said City, which Resolu tion of Intention No. 1590 was duly and legally published twice in the Santa Ana Daily Evening Register, a daily newspaper pub- lished and circulated in the City of Santa Aha, all as required by law, as appears from the affidavit of Edna L. Herrick, prtnci. pal clerk of the printers and publishers of said daily newspaper and which affidavit was filed in the ~fice of the Clerk of the City of Santa Ana on the 19th day of November, 1925, and now on file therein; and ~qiEREAS, after the passage and adoption of said Reso- lution of Intention No. 1590, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana conspicuously posted along the llne of the con templated work and improvement, at not more than three hundred (300) feet in distance apart, and 29 in all, notices of the pass age of said Resolution of Intention, headed NOTICE OF IMPROVEMEN in manner, form and substance as provided by law, and the work being chargeable upon a district, also conspicuously posted copi of said notice along all of the open streets and alleys within such district, n~t more than three hundred (300) feet in distanc. apart, on each street, and did post on each street at least 3 notices, and on said streets 29 notices; and WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Sant Ana commenced to post said notices on the 21st day of Nov,,1925, and fully completed the posting thereof on the 21st day of Novem ber, 1925, more than ten days before the day set for hearing pro tests or objections to the proposed work and improvement, all as appears by the affidavit of Nat H. Neff, Street Superintendent of the City of S~nta Ana, filed in the office of the Clerk of said City on the 25th day of November, 1925, and now on file therein; and WI{EREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa An~ was duly in regular session at the Council Chamber thereof, at the hour of ?:30 otclock P.M. of Monday, the Vth day of December 1925, being the day, hour and place named in the Resolution of Intention and Notice of Imorovement, when and where any and all persons having any objections to the proposed work or improve- ment, might appear before the Board of Trustees and show cause why said proposed improvement should not be carried out in accor ance with said Resolution of ~ntentton; and. whereas, certain pro tests were filed against the proposed work and improvement, and
