South line of .said Tract No. 282 which is also a point in the City Boundary line; thence West along said boundary line to its angle point in the center line of South Main Street; thence South along the surveyed center line of South Main Street to the point of beginning. ~Section V. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby order that that part of the costs and expenses of the improvements of the herein- before described streets and rights-of way .equal to and in the full sum of $2500.00, but not exceeding the cost of the said improvement shall be paid Out of the Treasury of the City of Santa ,~na from the Santa Aha Main Line Sewer Bond Fund of said City. The Street Superintendent in making up the assessment for the costs and expenses of said improvement shall first deduct from the whole cost and expenses thereof the sum of $2500.0~ and shall after any other deductions hereinafter in this Resolution ordered ascess the remainder of said coats and expenses upon the lots, parts of lots and land liable to be assessed for said work and in the manner provided by law as is hereinbefore set forth in this Resolution of Intention. Notice is hereby given that on the 14th day of November 1927, at ?:30 o'clock P.~. in the Council Chamber of the City Ha I1 ors aid City of Santa Ans any and all persons having any objections to the proposed work and improvement may appear before the City Council and show cause why sa proposed improvement should not be carried out in accordance with this Resolution. That all persons desiring to so appear should file Clerk of the City of Santa Ana before the hour herein set, against the said work or assessment district proposed to be with the City a written protest assessed, or both. PUBLICATION OF RESOLUTION OF ~N~NTION Section 9. The Santa Aha Daily Evening Register, a daily newspa~r published and circulated and of general circulation in the City of Santa Ana, is hereby designated as the newspa~r in which this Resolution of Intention shall be published and the City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to cause this Resolution of Intention to be published by two insertions in said news- paper, in the manner and fonm required by law. The City COuncil d~s not deem it advisable that the Clerk mail copies of the Notice of Imp~ ement to o~vners, or reputed owners, and he is not required to mail the same. POSTING OF NOTICES OF IMPROVE~ENT Section lO. The Street Superintendent of said City shell, after the adoption of this Resolution of Intention, caus* to be conspicuously posted along the lines of said contemplated work or improvement, and along all the open streets and alleys within the hereinbefore described Assessment District, notices of the passage of this Resolution of Intention, in the manner and foNm required by law.
