That the public interest and convenienc~ <br />requires, and it is the intention of the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana, California, to order the construction of <br />the followlng~4escrlbed work and improvement in said City, <br />to-wit: <br /> <br /> The furnishing, installat'ion and construction of an <br />ornamental lighting system on Flower Street from Ed!nger <br />Street to Fairview Avenhe; Garnsey Street from Edinger'Street <br />to Fairview Avenue; Patton Street from Edinger Street to Fair- <br />view Avenue; Van Ness Avenue from Edinger Street to Fairview <br />Avenue;' Ross Street from Edlnger Street to Falrview Avenue; <br />Birch Street from Borchard Avenue to the North line of~ Tract <br />No. 5~2; Broadway from Borchard Avenue to Fairview Avenue; <br />Sycamore Street from BorChard Avenue to Russell Avenue; Bor- <br />chard Avenue from Flower Street to Main Street; WilsMire Ave- <br />nue from Flower Street to the East llne of Tract No. 848; and <br />Russell Avenue fro~ the West llne of Tract No. 458 to Main <br />Street, together with the necessary appurtenances to said <br />lighting system, including the InStallation of one hundred <br />eighty-five (185) single light standards of the type and kind <br />known as Marbelite Lighting Standards, Design No. lllO-S, com- <br />plete, including concrete foundations, anchor bolts, potheads, <br />wiring, lamps, globes, canopies, conduits, cables and other <br />necessary items to complete the lighting system, including the <br />making of necessary connections to the ~ransformeP vault at <br />the location indicated on the plans, and making all eon <br /> <br /> <br />
