RESOLUTION NO. 1919 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION IN RE PETITION "COSTA ~ESA ADDITION" <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, has <br />received a written petition asking that certain territory therein <br />described be annexed to said City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> W~REAS, said City Council has examined the persons who <br />circulated said petition under oath, also the Clerk and Engineer in <br />reference thereto, and having examined into all matters and things <br />relating to the validity of said petition; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana hereby finds as follows: <br /> <br /> 1, That said petition has been filed under and in <br />pursuance of the Act of the Legislature approved April ll, 1915, set <br />forth in Chapter 512 of the Statutes of 1915, and the amendments <br />thereto; <br /> <br /> 2. That the territory so proposed to be annexed to said <br />City of Santa Ana is inhabited territory and is contiguous to the <br />said City of Santa Aha; <br /> <br /> 3. That said petition has been signed by not less than <br />one-fourth in number of the qualified electors residing within said <br />territory as shown by the Registration of Voters, of the County of <br />Orange, California, being the county in which said territory is <br />situated. <br /> <br /> I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly <br />and regularly introduced, passed and adopted by the City Council <br />o~ the City of Santa Aha, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 16 <br />day of April, 1928, by the following\vote, to-wit: <br /> AYES, TRUSTEES: J.L.McBride, W.J.Kelly, W.G.Knox, <br /> Stanley E. Goode, F.L. Purinton. <br /> <br /> NOES, TRUSTEES: None <br /> <br /> ABSENT, TRUSTEES: None; <br /> <br />ATTEST.: E.L.
