That the public interest and convenience requires and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, California, to order the construction of the following described work and improvement in said City, to-wit: The furnishing, installation and construction of an ornamental lighting system on Cypress Avenue from the South line of First Street to the North line of Occidental Street; Orange Avenue from the South line of First Street to the North line of Occidental Street; Maple Street from ~he South line of First Street to the North line of Chestnut Avenue; Maple Street from the South line of McFadden Street to the North line of Edinger Street; Oak Street from the South line of First Street to the North line of Myrtle Street; Oak Street from ~he South line of Bishop Street to the North line of McFadden Street; Kilson Drive from the Soutk line of Bishop Street to ~he North line of McFadden Street; Hickory Street from the South line of First Street t~ the North line of Myrtle Street; Hickory Street from the South line of ~ishop Street to the North line of McFadden Street; Walnut Street from the East line of Main Street to the West line of Hal laday Street; Pine Street from the East line of Main Street to ~he ~est line of Halladay Street; Chestnut Avenue from the East line of Main Street to a line drawn parallel to and distant twenty feet Westerly from the West line of The Southern Pacific Railroad Company's Right of Way; Myrtle Street from the East line of Main Street to the West line of Halladay Street, Camile Street from the East line of Main Street to the West line of Maple Street; Bishop Street from the East line of Main Street to the ~est line of Halladay Street; Grant Street from the East line of Orange Avenue to the West line of Oak Street; Wakeham Avenue from the East line of Orange Avenue to the West line of H~laday Street; Wisteria Place from the East line of OraD~e Avenue to the West line of Oak Street; Cubbon Street from the East line of Main Street to the West line of Orange Avenue; Beverly Place from the East line of Orange Avenue to the West line of Halladay Street; Normandy Place from the East line of Orange Avenue to the West line of Oak Street; Harwood Place from the East line of Orange Avenue to the West line of Oak Street; McFadden Street from the East line of Main Street to the Southerly extension of the West line of Halladay Street; Oxford Street from the East line of Main Street to the West line of Maple Street; Hobart Street from the East line of Main Street to the West line of Maple Street; Edi~ger Street from the East line of Main Street to the Northerly extens- ion of the ~est line of Maple Alley; Stanford Street from the East line of Main Street to ~he West line of Maple Alley; Pomona Street from the East line of Main Street to the West line of Maple Alley; Berkeley Street from the East line of Maiz Street to the West line of Maple Alley; and Occidental Street from the East line of Main Street to the West line of Maple Alley; together with the necessary appurtenances to said lighting system including the installation of single light standards of the type and kind known as King Ferronite Ornamental Standards, Design Drawing No. KO-10?, complete, including concrete foundations, anchor bolts potheads, wiring, lamps, canopies, globes, condzxi~s, cables and other necessary items to complete ~he lighting system, including the making of necessary connect- ions between standards and to the service points; and the repairing of all curbs, sidewalks, culverts, pavements or improvements cut or damaged during the con- struction. Together with such other work and improvement as shown on the plans and specifications which shall be considered as incidental to the above described work and improvement.
