Tosether with such other work or improvements as are noted on <br />the plans or specifications, which shall be considered as incidental <br />to the above described work and improvements, and no additional com- <br />pensation shall be allowed therefor. <br /> <br /> The work to be done as herein set forth shall include the <br />furnishing of all labor, equipment and materials necessary for or <br />appurtenant to the construction and completion of all work herein <br />specified. <br /> <br /> RESOLVED: That the said City Council hereby reject all of <br />said proposals or bids except the next herein mentioned, and hereby <br />awards the contract for doing said work and improvement to the lowest <br />responsible bidder, to-wit: STEELE FINLEY, at the price named in his <br />bid as follows, to-wit: <br /> <br /> Item No. 1. The grading to a subgrade and the laying <br />thereon of an Asphaltic Concrete pavement having a total thickness of <br />five (8) inches, with the furnishing of all necessary equipment, <br />labor and material for the sum of Sixteen and 6/10 cents ($0.166) per <br />square foot. <br /> <br /> Item No. 2. The excavation for and the construction of <br />Portland cement concrete curbs, complete with the furnishing of all <br />necessary equipment, labor and material for the sum of Sixt~ cents <br />($0.80) per linear foot. <br /> <br /> Item No. $. The excavation for and the construction of <br />Portland cement concrete sidewalks having a total thickness of three aM <br />one-half (3-1/2~) inches, complete with the furnishing of all necessary <br />equipment, labor and material for the sum of Sixteen and 1/2 cents <br />($0.188) per square foot. <br /> <br /> ~±~e Clerk of the City of Santa Ana is hereby direct~ to <br />post a notice of this award conspicuously for five (S) days on or near <br />the door of the Council Chamber of the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Ana, and also publish said notice twice in the Santa Ana Daily <br />Evening Register, a daily newspaper published and circulated in the <br />City of Santa Ana, and hereby designated for that purpose by said City <br />Council. <br /> <br /> I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution is a full, <br />true and correct copy of Resolution of Award No. 1949, duly introduced <br />and regularly passed by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at a <br />regular meeting thereof held on the 21st day of Liay, 1928, by the <br /> <br />following vote: <br /> AYES, <br /> <br /> NOES~ <br />ABSENT, <br /> <br />TRUST~ES: J.I..McBride, W.J.Kelly, Homer C. <br /> Stanley E.
