RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO ASSESSMENT, APPROVING ASSESSMENT AND ORDERING THE STREET SUPERINTENDENT TO ATTACH ¥1ARRANT AND RECORD. NO. 1953 V~EREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, did on the 14th day of No~ember, 1927, pass Resolution of Intention No. 1842 for the improve- ment of portions of Flower Street, Garnsey Street, Patton Street, Van Ness Avenue, Ross Street, Birch Street, Broadway, Sycamore Street, Borchard Avenue, Wilshire Avenue, Russell Avenue~ and whereason the llth day of May, 1928, tha Superintendent of Streets of said City filed an assessment to cover the ~um dui for the work performed and specified in the contract made under proceedings fo~ the said improvement, which assessment 'diagram was approved by the City Council of said City on the 50th day of January, 1928. AND WHEREAS, the Clerk of the City of Santa Ana has given notice re- quired by law in which notice May 28, 1928, at the hour of 7:50 ot~lock PLM. was fixed as the time, and the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City as the place where any and all persons interestedin the said work might be heard; and whereas, no person aggrievedhas filed with the City Council a written objection to said assessment as required by law; and whereas, at the time set for hearing protests or objections the City Council of said City pro- ceeded to hear the same, and all of said protests o~ objections to said assess. merit or the work done having been heard, it is hereby; RESOLVED, by mhe City Council of the City of Santa Aha that all of the said protests or objections against said Assessment or the work done under said p~oceedings he, and the same are hereby overruled and d~nied and the assessment be affirmed, and that the Street Superintendent be and he is hereby directed to attach to said assessment a warrant in the form and manner requirei by law, and shall record the same in the office of said Superintendent of Streets.
