4 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTE~YION <br /> <br />N0. 1976. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA, DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO <br />ORDER THE PAVIE; OR OTHERWISE I~PRGJ ING OF <br />HALLADAY STREET, BETWEEN THE SOUTH LINE OF <br />FIRST STREET AND THE NORTH LINE OF M~FADDEN <br />STREET, AND M~ADDEN STREET BETW~N THE <br />SOUTHERLY EXTENDED WESTERLY LINE OF HALLADAY <br />STREET AND THE SOUTHERLY EXTENDED EASTERLY <br />LINE OF HALLADAY STREET; DECLARING THE SAID <br />WORK AND IMPRO~ ~MENT TO BE OF MORE THAN <br />LOCAL OR ORDINARY PUBLIC BENEFIT; DECLARING <br />THE DISTRICT TO BE BENEFITED THEREBY AND TO <br />BE ASSESSED TO PAY THE COSTS AND EXPENSES <br />THEREOF; DETERMINING THAT BONDS SHALL BE <br />IS~ TO REPRESENT SAID COSTS AND EXPENSES <br />AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING <br />0BJE~TIONS TO SAID W0~ OR IMPR0~ ~ENT, OR <br />TO THE EXTENT OF THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED, <br />OR BOTH: <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Santa Aha, pursuant to <br />the provisions of the Improvem~t Act of 1971 and the ~mprove~ent <br />Bond Act of 1915, and amendments to said acts, do resolve as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the public interest and convenience <br />requires and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Aha, California, to order the construction of the following <br />work and improvement in said City, to-wit: <br /> <br /> That the portions of streets in the City of Santa Aha <br />upon which work shall be done and improvements made as hereinafter <br />set forth is upon and along those open public streets comynonly known <br />as and called Halladay Street, between the South line of First Street <br />and the North line of McFadden Street and McFadden Street between <br />the Southerly extended Westerly line of Halladay Street and the <br />Southerly extended Easterly llne of Halladay Street. <br /> <br /> That the work to be done and improvements to be made <br />upon and along the hereinbefore described portions of Halladay Street <br />and McFadden Street in accordance with the plans and specifications <br /> <br /> therefor on file in the office of the City Clerk shall be as follows: <br /> (a) GRADING AND PAVING. <br /> <br /> Halladay Street between the South line of First Street <br />ami the North line of McFadde~ Street shall be graded and paved from <br />curb line to curb line and where cross streets or alleys intersect, <br />the grading and paving shall extend bey~md the curb lines to the <br />extending property lines of said street, excepting therefrom that <br />portion of Halladay Street lying Fmst of a line drawn parallel to and <br />distant thirty-six (36) feet Easterly from the Westerly line of <br />Halladay Street between the Westerly extended Southerly line of <br />Apricot ~treet and the Westerly extended Northerly line of McFadden <br />Street and McFadden Street between the Southerly extended Easterly <br />and Westerly lines of Halladay Street, shall be graded and paved, <br />all as particularly indicated on and in accordar~e with the plans <br />and specifications hereinafter mentioned. <br /> <br /> The grading and paving of the hereinbefore described <br /> porticoes of streets shall consist of the grading to a subgrade five <br /> (5) inches on the sides and seven (7) inches, tapering to five (5) <br /> inches in thirty (30) inches, on each side of the central long~tudina~ <br /> <br /> <br />
