RESOLUTION N0. 1978 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, RW~.ATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF STREET IMPROV~NT BONDS, PURSUANT TO RESOLU- TiON OF INTENTION NS. 1555, DETERMINING THE DENOMINATION OF SUCH BONDS AND PROVIDING FOR THEIR ISSUANCE IN ANNUAL SERIES: WHEREAS, pursuant to statute, notice of the filing of list of unpaid assessments was duly given in the manner and form required by law, that Be warrant, assessment and diagram was recor- ded on the 29th day of May, 1928, for the ~rk and and improvement made by l~ernel Barnett, under that certain contract awarded to him on the 23rd day of January, 1928, upon Halladay Street from a point 510.42 feet south of the south line of First Street to the south lin~ of First Street; Garfield Street ~rom the north line of First Street to the center llne of Sixth Street; Sixth Street from the center line of Garfield Street to the center line of Poinsettia Street; ar~ Poinsettia Street frc~ the c e~ter line of Sixth Street to the center line of Fruit Street, as set forth in Resolution of Intention No. 1855; and that said warrant, assessment and diagram were returned to the Street Superintendent of said City, together with a written statement of all payments received upon the said assessment; and aftra the full expiration of thirty (30) days after the recording of said warrant, the said Street Superintendent duly made and filed with the City Clerk of said City of Santa Aha, a complete list of all assess- ments unpaid upon the said Assessment, which list is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City; now upon evidence shown, this City Council determines that the assessments therein mentioned were then unpaid, the total aggregate thereof being the sum of Eight Hundred Thirty nine end 38/100 Dollars ($839.3~), and that there has been paid since the filing of the list of unpaid assessments by the Street Superintendent the following assessment, to-wit: Assessment No. 333 for $2.61; Assessment No. 334 for $2.60; Assessment No. 335 fc~ $2.61; and Assessment No. 336 for $0.31, and that there now remains unpaid ~he sum of $831.25 upon the assessments shown upon said list. Reference is hereby made to Resolution of Intention No. 1555 of the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, passed on the 12th day of December, 1927, fc~ a complete description of the work herein mentioned, and to the list of unpaid assessments filed as above stated for the assessments unpaid; and WHEREAS, interested persons were notified in the manner required by law ~o appear before the City Council in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of ss,id City at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. on Monday, the 9th day of July, 1928, and show cause, why bonds should not be issued upon the seeu~ity of the unpaid assessments shown on the street Superintendent 's list; and WHEREAS, notice was duly given in the manner and form required by law, that serial bonds to represent unpaid assessments
