bearing interest at the rate of six per cent per annum will be issued <br />hereunder in the manner provided in the "Improvem~ent Bond Act of <br />1915", the last installment of which bonds shall mature nine years <br />from the 2nd day of July, ext succeeding ten (10) months from their <br />date, and all interested persons having appeared before this City <br />Council and having been given a £ull opportunity to show cause why <br />bonds should not be issued upon the security of the unpaid assess- <br />ments shown on said list, and all objections presented having been <br />heard ar~i considered. <br /> <br /> IT IS THEREFORE NOW BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITT OF <br />SANTA ANA DET~RMINED, RESOLVED AND ORDERED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That no cause has been shown ~hy bonds should not be issued upon the <br />security of said unpaid assessments, and does hereby overrule all <br />objections thereto, and does hereby direct the issuance of said <br />bonds; and further <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: That bonds shall be issued <br />upon the security of said unpaid assessn~nts to said amount of Eight <br />Hundred Thirty-one and ~25/100 Dollars ($831.25). <br /> <br /> That said bonds shall be ten (10) in number ar~ shall be <br />dated July 9, 19Z8, and bear interest at the rate of six per cent per <br />annum, and the denomination of said bonds, and the date of respective <br /> <br />maturity thereof shall be as follows: <br /> <br /> SERIES BOND NO. AMOUNT DATE OF MATURITY <br /> July Z <br /> I-3 1 $83.12 1929 <br /> <br /> I-3 2 83.12 1930 <br /> 1-3 3 83.12 1931 <br /> I-3 4 83.12 1932 <br /> I-3 5 83.12 1933 <br /> I-3 6 83.13 1934 <br /> ~-3 7 8S~13 1935 <br /> I-3 8 83.13 1936 <br /> I-3 9 83.13 1937 <br /> I-3 10 83.13 1938 <br /> <br />from July <br /> <br />The first coupon of interest shall be for interest <br />1928, to January Z, 1929, and ~he several coupons <br /> <br />thereafter shall each be fore the semi-annual interest; and <br /> <br /> BE IT FURT~.:M RESOLVED, that the signature of the <br />treasurer of said City upon the coupons attached to said bonds <br />shall be a lithographed or printed signature in place of a signature <br />by hand; and <br /> <br /> BE IT ALSO ~URTHER RESOLVED, That the City Clerk of <br />said City of Santa Aha be and he is hereby authorized and directed <br />to deliver forthwith the bonds herein above enumerated, to the con- <br />tractor, Pernel Barnett, in satisfaction of the balance due upon <br />the assesSmant and diagram. <br /> <br /> I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly <br />and re$ularly passed by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br /> <br /> <br />
