RESOLUTION OF INTENTION No. 1981. ~TENT OF THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSE~, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, DECLARING TR~;~. INTENTION TO ORDER THE PAVING OR OTHERWISE IMPROVING OF WESTERN AVENUE, BETWEEN THE NORTH LINE OF FIRST STREET AND THE SOUTH LINE OF E~GHTH STREET; DECLARING THE SAID WORK (lq IMPROV~ENT TO BE OF MORE THAN LOCAL OR ORDINARY PUBLIC BENEFIT; DECLARING THE DISTRICT TO BE BENEFITED THEREB~ AND TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY THE COSTS AND EXP~2~SES THEREOF; DETERMINING THAT BONDS SHALL BE ISSUED TO REPRESENT SAID COSTS AND EXPEN- SES AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING THE OBJECTIONS TO SAID WORK OR IMPROVEMENT, OR TO THE OR BOTH: The City Council of the City of Santa Ana, pursuant to the provisiomm of the Improvement Act of 1911, and the Improvement Bend Act of 1915, and amendments to said acts, do resolve as follows: Section 1. That the public interest and convenience requires and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Santa Arm, to-wit: to order the following work and improvement in said City, That the portions of streets in the City of Santa Ana upon which work shall be d~ne ar~ improvements made as hereinafter set forth is upon and along that open public street, commonly known as and called Western Avenue, between the North line of First Street and the South line of Eighth Street. That the work to be done and improvements to be made upon end along the hereinbefore described portion of said street in accordance with the plans and specifications on file in the Office of the City Clerk shall De as follows: That the hereinbefore described portion of Western Avenue shall be graded and paved with Asphaltic Concrete pavement, from curb line to curb line, and where cross streets or alleys inter- sect, the grading and paving shall extend beyond the curb lines to th~ extended property lines of said street and at driveway locations the grading and paviug shall extend back of the curb lines to the street side of the sidewalk, all as particularly indicated on and in accord- ance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned.
