RESOLUTION .N.q. 2006 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION IN RE PETITION "SOUTH MAIN ADDITION". <br /> <br /> 'Jv~UgREAS, the City Co~cil of the City of Santa Ana has'received a <br />written petition asking that certain territory therein described be annexed t( <br />said City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> ~REAS, said City Council has examined the persons who circulated <br />said petition Under oath, also the Clerk and Engineer in reference thereto, ant <br />having examined into all matters and things relating to the v~lidity of said <br />petition; <br /> <br /> NOVf, ~{EREF0'~E, RESOL~ED: That the City Council of the City of <br /> <br />Santa Ana hereby finds as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. That said petition has been filed under and in pursuance of an <br />Act of the Legislature approved April ll, 1913, set forth in Chapter $12 of <br />the Statutes of 191S, and amendments thereto. <br /> <br /> 2. That the territory so proposed to be annexed to said City ~f San' <br />Aha is inhabited territory and is contiguous to the City of Santa Aha. <br /> <br /> 3. That said petition has been filed by not less than one-fourth <br />in number of the qualified electors residing within said territoxT, as shown <br />by the Registration of Voters of the County of Orange, State of California, <br />being the County in which said territory is situated. <br /> <br /> I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was du~y and <br />regularly introduced, passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Ana, at an adjourned regular meeting thereof held on the llth day of <br />Septer:lber, 1928, by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br />AYES, <br /> <br />N0~o~ <br /> <br />ABSENT, <br /> <br />TRUSTEES: J.L.McBride, ¥t.J.Kelly, Homer C. <br /> Stanley E.
