'the polls will be open for said election in said territory so proposed to be annexed will be at Edison School Building, corner Orange Avenue and Saiut Gertrude Place. The City Council hereby appoints the officers to conduct said special election as follows: J~dges: Clarence J. Smith and Chas. H. Thompson Inspector: R. D. Floyd all of said officers being qualified electors of said precinct and said territ 3. Upon the ballots to be used at said electim there shall be printed the words, "Shall the South Main Addition be annexed to the City of Santa Ana?- Yes", and "Shall the South Main Addition be annexed to the City of Santa Ara? - No". There shall be a voting square to the right of and opposite each of said propositions, otherwise the ballots used at said electi~ the opening and closing of the polls, and the holding and conducting of said election shall be in conformity as near as may be to the lawa of this State c~mcerntng general elections, except as herein 9~he~wtse provided. The Judges and Inspector ef said election shall meet upon the closing of the polls count the ballots, make up, certify and seal the ballets and tally sheets of the ballots cast at the polling place, and thereupon deliver, and deposit the same with the returns thereof, to the Clerk of the City Council.
