104 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 2026 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA~ DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO ORDER THE PAVING OR OTHER%VISE IMPROVING OF BIRCH STREET FRONf TPiE CENTER LINE OF FAIRVIEW AVENUE TO THE NORTH LINE OF TRACT NO. 352 AND RUSSELL AVENUE FROM THE V;EST LINE OF BR0^D%TAY TO THE EAST LINE OF ROSS STREET; DECLARING THE SAID WORK AND IMPROVEMENT TO BE OF MORE THAN LOCAL OR ORDINARY PUBLIC BENEFIT, DECLARING THE DISTRICT TO BE BENEFITED THEREBY AND TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY THE COSTS AND EXPENSES THEREOF; DETER~IINING THAT BONDS SHALL BE ISSUED TO REPRESENT SAID COSTS AND EXPENSES AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HE, ARING OBJECTIONS TO SAID V/ORK OR IMPROVEMENT, OR TO THE EXTENT OF THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED, OR BOTH; The City Council of the City of Santa Aha, PUrsuant to the provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911, and the Improvement Bond Act of 191S, and amendmen~ to said a6ts, do resolve as follows: Section 1. That the public interest and convenience requires, and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, CaliFornia, to order the construction of the following work and improvement in said City, to-wit: That the portions of streets in the City of Santa Ana upon which work shall be done and improvements made as hereinafter set forth are upon and along those open public streets commonly known as Bi~ch Street from the esn~em line of Fairview Avenue to the North line of Tract No. 58~, and Russell Avenue from the West line of Broadway to the East line of Ross Street, excepting therefrom any of said work already done to the official grade. That the work to be done and improvements to be made upon and along the hereinbefore described portions of said stx'eets in accordance with the plans and specificatiomm therefor on file follows: That the hereinbefore in the office of the City Clerk shall be as described portion of Birch Street shall be graded and paved with asphaltic concrete pavement, from curb line to curb line, and where cross streets intersect, the grading and paving shall extend beyond the curb lines to the extended property lines of said street, all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. That the hereinbefore described portion of Russell Avenue, with the exception of that portion lying within the limits of Birch Street, shall be graded and covered with one and one-half (1/1/2) inches icularly indicated ~ and in accordance with the after mentioned. The excavation for and construction of of stone screenings, all as part- plans and specifications herein- Portland Cement Concrete Curbs upon and along the hereinbefore described portions of streets, all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. The excavation for and construction of Portland cement concrete sidewalks upon and along the hereinbefore described portion of Birch Street, all as part- icularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications herein- after mentioned. The excavation for and construction of salt glazed vitrified clay pipe main sanitary sewer, together with manholes, flush tanks and all other necessary appurtenances thereto upon the hereinbefore described portion of Birch Street, s
