RESOLUTION NO. 2050 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA AMA, CALIFORNIA, RELATING TO THE. ISSUANCE OF STREET IMPROVEMENT BONDS PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1921; DETER- MINING THE AMOUNT OF UNPAID ASSESSMENTS; PRESCRIBING THE DENOMINATION_ OF SUCH BONDS AND PROVIDING FOR' THEIR ISSUANCE NN ANNUAL SERIES: WHEREAS, pursuant to Statute, notice of filing of list of unpaid assess- ments was duly given in the manner and form required by law, that the warrant, assessment and diagram was recorded on the 18th day of September, 1928, for the wox and improvement made by Steele Finley, uhder that certain contract awarded to him on the 21st day of May, 1928, upon portions of Ol2ve Street, Garnsey Street and Pine Street, as set forth in Resolution of Intention No. 1921; and that said warrant, assessment and diagram were returned to the Street Superintendent of said City, together with a written statement of all payments received upon the said assessments; and after the full expiration of thirty (50) days after the recording of said warrant, the said Street Superintendent duly made and filed with the City Clerk of said City of Santa Ana, a complete list of all assessments unpaid upon the said assessment, which list is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City; now upon evidence shown, this City Council determines that the assess- ments therein mentioned were then unpaid, the total aggregate thereof being the sum of Ninety-nine Hundred Sixteen and 12/100 Dollars ($9918.12), and that no assess- ments have been paid since the filing of the list of unpaid assessments by the Street Superintendent, and that there now remains unpat~ the sum of Ninety-nine Hundred Sixteen and 12/100 Dollars ($9916.12) upon the assessments shown upon said list. Reference is hereby made to Resolution of In~ention No. 1921 of the City Council of the City of Santa Aha passed on the 16th day of April,~ 1928 for a complete description of the work herein mentioned, and to the list of unpaid assessments filed'as above stated, for'the assessments unpaid. AND, WHEREAS, interested persons were notified in the manne~ required by law to ap~ ar before the City Council of the said City of Santa Aha, Califomala, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. on Monday the 29th day of October, 1928, and show cause why bauds should not · be issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments shown on the said Street Superintendent's list; and WHEREAS, notice was duly given, in the manner and form required by law, that serial bonds to represent unpaid assessments bearing interest at the rate of six per cent per annum will be issued hereunder in the manner provided in the "Improvement Bond Act of 1915", the last installment of which bonds shall mature nine (9) years from the 2nd day of July, next succeeding ten months from their date, and all interested persons having appeared before this City Council, and having been given full opportunity to show cause why bonds should not be issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments shown on said list, and all objections presented having been heard and considered; IT IS THEREFORE NBW BY THE CITY COUNCIL · THE CITY OF SANTA A~A~ DETERMINED, RESOLVED AND ORDERED AS FOLLOWS: That no cause has been shown why bonds should not be issued upon the security of said unpaid assessments, and does hereby overrule all objections thereto, and does hereby direct the issuance of said
