That the public interest and convenience re~ ires and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, California, to order the con- struction of the following work and improvement in said City, to-wit: That the portions of streets in the City of Santa Ana upon which work shall be done and improvements made as hereinafter set forth are upon and along thee open public streets commonly known as and called Garfield Street from the Northerly line of First Street to a line drawn parallel to and distant twenty-five (2S) feet Northerly from the Northerly line of Sixth Street; Sixth Street from the Easterly line of Garfield Street to the Northerly extended Westerly line of Poinsettia Street as it exists South- erly from Sixth Street; Poinsettia Street from the Northerly line of Sixth Street to the center line of Washington Avenue; Second Street from the Easterly line of Garfield Street to a line d~awn parallel to and distant ten (10) feet Easterly from the Easterly line of Garfield Street;-Fourth Street from the Easterly line of Garfield Street to a line drawn parallel to and distant ten feet Easterly from the Easterly line of Garfield Street; Fifth Street from a line drawn parallel to and distant ten (10) feet Easterly from the Easterly line of Garfield Street to a line drawn parallel to and distant ten (10) feet ~esterly from the ~esterly line of Garfield Street; Brown Street from the ~esterly line of Poinsettia Street to the center line of Garfield Street; Stafford Street from the Westerly line of Poinsettia Street to the center line of Garfield Street; Vance Street from the ~esterly line of Poinsettia Street to the center line of Garfield Street; Wellington Avenue from the Westerly line of Poinsettia Street to a line drawn parallel to and distant twenty (20) feet Westerly from the Westerly line of Poinsettia Street; excepting therefrom any portions of said streets upon which the work is already done to the official grade; also excepting from'all of the above described streets such portions of the hereinafter described work as is re~ired by law to be kept in or,er or repair by any person or company having railroad tracks thereon. That the work to be done and improvements to be made upon and along the here- inbefore described portions of streets in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor on file in the office of the City Clerk shall be as follows: That the hereinbefore described portions of streets shall be graded and paved with asphaltic concrete pavement, from curb line to curb line, and where cross- streets intersect the g~-'ading and paving shall extend beyond the curb lines to the extended property lines of said streets; ~d at driveway locations the grading and paving shall be for their entire width and from the street side of the curb to the street side of the sidewalk, unless otherwise shown on the plans, and all as part- icularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. The excavation for and con~t~uction of Portland cement concrete curbs upon and along the hereinbefore described p~rtions of streets, all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. The excavation for and construction of Portland cement concrete sidewalks upon and along the hereinbefore described portions of streets whe~'e sidewalks are shovm upon the plans to be built, all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned. The excavation for and construction of salt glazed vitrified clay pipe main sanitary sewer, together wi~ manholes and all necessary appurtenances thereto, on Poinsettia Street, from and connecting with the existing sewer main at a point Silty- five (88) feet Northerly from the Northerly line of Stafford Street, to and connecting with the existing sewer main at the manhole on the center line of Wellington Avenue, and a mamhole shall be constructed on the existing sewer main at the intersection of Poinsettia and Stafford Streets, all as particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned.
