<br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA,
<br /> APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF EAST FOURTH
<br /> STREET BY A P~RTIAL SEPARATION OF GRAD'ES IN THE CONSTRUCTION
<br /> OF AN UNDERPASS UND~ THE ATCHISON, TOPEKA AND SANTA FE
<br /> RAILROAD AND THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC RAILROAD TRACKS; AND THE
<br /> IMPROVEMENT OF SANTA FE STREET BY THE CONSTRUCTION OF A
<br /> CONCRETE PIPE STORM DRAIN BETWEEN FIRST STREET AND FOURTH
<br /> STREET, NECESSARY TO ACCOMPLISH SAID PURPOSE.
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, Clyde L. Jenken, City Engineer of the City of Santa Ana w~s on the
<br />24th day of November, 1930, appointed and directed to prepare and furnish specification~
<br />for a partial separation of grades on East Fourth Street between Poinsettia Street and
<br />Santa Fe Street, as said streets exist northerly from Fourth Street, consisting of the
<br />construction of an Underpass under the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad and the
<br />Southern Pacific Railroad, said Underpass to be approximately 740 feet long~ and being
<br />27 feet between sidewalls, with a minimum clearance of 12 feet, and to be equipped with
<br />all necessary lights, drainage facilities, railroad and street bridging, and all other
<br />necessary appurtenances thereto; and also the construction of surface pavement, side-
<br />walks, curbs, culverts, driveways, relocation of om-mental street lights, sanitary
<br />sewers, storm drains, and all other necessary appurtenances thereto; and the improvement
<br />of Santa Fe Street between First Street and Fourth Street by the construction of a
<br />concrete pipe storm drain, together with all necessary appurtenances thereto necessary
<br />to accomplish said partial separation of grades, under proceedings to be had and taken
<br />"In the Matter of Acquisition and Improvement District No. 9 of the City of Santa Aha;
<br />and

<br /> WHEREAS, the said Clyde L. Jenken, on the 24th day of November, 1930, presente~
<br />said specifications to this City Council, and this City Council has examined the same
<br />and deems that the public interest and convenience requires the improvements therein pro.
<br />vided for, in the manner therein set forth.
<br />
<br /> Now, therefore, be it resolved: That the said specifications be and they are
<br />hereby approved by this City Council and it is hereby ordered that said specifications
<br />be filed with the Clerk of this City Council.
<br />
<br /> The foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced, passed and adopted by the
<br />City Council of the City of Santa Ana at an adjourned regular meeting thereof held on
<br />the 24th day of November, 1930, by the following vote, to-wit:
