RESOLUTION NO. 2264 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE <br /> OF STREET IMPROVEMENT BONDS, PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION <br /> OF INTENTION NO. 2218; EETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF <br /> UNPAID ASSESSMENTS; PRESCRIBING THE DENOMINATION ~0F <br /> SUCH BONDS AND PROVIDING FOR THEIR ISSUANCE IN <br /> ANNUAL SERIES° <br /> <br /> W~E~EAS, pursuant to stateute, notice of the filing of list of unpaid <br /> assessments was duly given in the manner and forln required by law, that the warral <br /> assessment and diagram w~s recorded on the 21st day of October, 1930 for the <br /> work and improvement made by Daniel Dakovich, under that certain contract awarded <br /> to him on the 18th day of August, 1930, upon Rose Avenue from the center line of <br /> Fairview Avenue to the center line of Wilshire Avenue, as set forth in Resolution <br /> of Intention No. 2218;~ that said warrant, assessment and diagram were returned <br /> to the Street Superintendent of said City, together with a written statement of <br /> all payments received upon the said assessment; and after the full expiration of <br /> thirty (30) days after the date of the recording of said warrant, the said Street <br /> Superintendent duly made and filed with th$ City Clerk of the said City of <br /> Santa Aha, a complete list of all assessments unpaid upon the said assessment, <br /> which list is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City; now upon <br /> evidence shown, this City Council determines that the assessments therein mention. <br /> were then unpaid, the total aggregate thereof being the su~ of Eleven Hundred <br /> Sixty-eight and 9/100 Dollars ($1188.09), and that no assessments have been paid <br /> since the filing of the list of unpaid assessments by the Street Superintendent, <br /> and that there now remains unpaid the sum of Eleven Hundred Sixty-eight and 9/100 <br /> Dollars ($1,188.09), upon the assessments shown upon said list. <br /> <br /> Reference is hereby made to Resolution of Intention No. 2B18 of the <br /> City Council of the City of Santa Aha, passed on the 14th day of July, 1930, for <br /> a complete description of the work herein mentioned, and to the list of unpaid <br /> assessments filed as above stated~for the assessments unpaid; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, interested persons were notified in the manner required by law <br /> to appear before the City Council in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said <br /> City at the hour of 7:30 otclock P.M. on Monday, the l~th day of December, 1930, <br /> and show cause why bonds should not be issued upon the security of the unpaid <br /> assessments shown on the Street Superintendent~s list; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, notice was duly given in the manner and form required by law, <br />that se~l~l bonds to represent unpaid assessments bearing interest at the rate <br />of six percent per annum will be issued hereunder in the manner provided in <br />the "Improvement Bond Act of 1918", the last installment of which bonds shall <br />mature nine years from the End day of July, next succeeding ten (10) months from <br />their date, and all interested persons having appeared before this City Council <br />and having been given a full opportunity to show cause why bonds should not be <br />issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments shown on said list, and all <br />objections presented having been heard and considered. <br /> <br /> IT IS THEREFORE NOW BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, <br />DETERMINED, RESOLVED A~D 0RDER~ AS FOLLOWS: That no cause has been shown why <br />bonds should not be issued upon the security of said unpaid assessments, and does <br />hereby overrule all objections thereto, and does hereby direct the issuance of <br />said bonds; and further, <br /> <br />d <br /> <br /> <br />
