That certain 15 foot alleys ~2§ feet South of the South <br /> line of West First Street, parallel to and between West <br /> First Street and West Walnut Street, extending Easterly <br /> from the East line of South Artesia Street a distance <br /> of 443.40 feet; <br /> <br />all of which is more clearly shovm on a certain map approved and adopted by t he City <br /> <br /> Council of the City of Santa Ana for the said abaudornnent, by Resolution No. 2773, <br />on the 18th day of March, 1940. <br /> <br /> That the public work ordered and the improvement to be made is for t he <br />purpose of closing up and abandoning that portion of the alleyway as hereinbefore <br />described, and for that reason no district, property or properties shall be chargeable <br />therewith. <br /> <br /> All of the herein proposed work shall be done in pursuance to an act offlae <br />legislature of the State of California, desi~aated as "STREET I~PROVE~:~NT LAW OF 1889"~ <br />approved March 8, 1889~ Statutes 1889, p. 70~ and amendments thereto. <br /> <br /> For further particulars reference is hereby made to said Resolution of <br />Intention No. ~VV4~ which is dated the 18th day of March, 1~40, and on file with the <br />Clerk of the City of Santa Aha. <br /> <br /> The Clerk of the City of Santa Ana is herewith instructed to record a copy <br />of this Resolution ordering the work and improvement as specified herein, in the <br />office of the County Recorder of the County of Orange, State of California. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha this 18th <br />day of April, 19~0. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />E.
