139 <br /> <br />such additional blanks to be printed ae ma~ be required, which <br />said blanks shall be so printed and subdivided that they shall <br />have space for writing in the following matters to-wit: <br /> <br />No. of pawn ticket; amount loaned or paid for article; descrip- <br />tion of articles purchased; description of articles sold; <br />description of article otherwise dealt with; name and residence <br />of person, firm or corporation from whom purchased; name and <br />place of residence of person, firm or corporation to whom sold; <br />name and place of residence of person, firm or corporation with <br />whom otherwise dealt with; description of person to whom sold <br />or with whom othe~vis, dealt with, showing true name as nearly <br />as known; age, sex, complexion, color of mustache or beard or <br />both where both are worn, style of dress; height, also the time <br />when the articles were purchased, sold or otherwise dealt with. <br />Each day all articles which were purchased the preceding day <br />shall be displayed for inspection. Said blanks shall also <br />bear a caption providing blank spaces in which to fill in the <br />date of said report; the name and place of residence of the <br />person making the same and the hour of the day when made; <br /> <br /> Section 3. The City Marshal of said City of Santa Ana <br />shall deliver said blank to the person from whom said reports are <br />required from time to time, free of charge and shall upon receipt <br />of said report file the same in some secure place in his office <br />and the same shall be open to inspection only to the police <br />department of said City, or upon order of some court duly made <br />for that purpose. <br /> <br /> Section 4. Any violation of this Ordinance or any of <br />the provisions thereof shall constitute a misdemeanor and shall <br />be punishable by a fine not exceeding One Nundred Dollars(S100) <br />or by imprisonment in the Oity Jail for a period not exceeding <br />fifty (50) days or by both such fine and imprisonment in the <br />discretion of the Oourt. <br /> <br /> Section §. Ail Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in <br />conflict herewith is hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 6. This is an Ordinance for the immediate pre- <br />servation of the public health,peace and safety and one of urgency <br />and shall take effect from and after its passage and approval <br />and publication as provided by law. <br /> <br /> The above Ordinance passed anti adopted this 20th day <br /> <br />of December, 1915, by the following vote to-wit: <br /> <br /> Greenleaf, Maryatt and Visel. <br /> <br />Trustees Tubbs, McPhee, <br />Trustees None. <br /> <br />Ayss, <br /> <br />Noe~, <br /> <br /> A.J.
