B. A sample of the expected services required is as follows: <br />• Copper cabling installation, termination and testing <br />• Fiber optic installation, termination and testing <br />• Backbone installation (copper and fiber), termination and testing <br />• Coaxial cable installation <br />• Riser cable installation, termination and testing <br />• Cable identification and documentation <br />• Cable Plant design <br />• Conduit installation <br />C. All vendors will be required to follow NEC and EIAMA CAT S standards for <br />materials, installation, testing and configuration. <br />D. All vendors will be responsible for any damage to any existing cabling and/or <br />equipment that is a direct result of the work being provided to the City of <br />Santa Ana. <br />E. All cabling work (unless specifically directed otherwise) will require testing <br />with test results to be provided to the City of Santa Ana upon completion of <br />work. <br />F. All cabling work will require labeling and documentation to be specified by a <br />City of Santa Ana Telecommunications Coordinator. <br />3.0 Evaluation Procedure <br />To assess qualifications in providing cable services and to determine the strength <br />and stability of the firm, every proposer is required to complete and submit the <br />Proposal Response Form (Exhibit A). <br />Each of the firms will be evaluated as to their qualifications and will be assigned a <br />score from 0-100 (100 being best). An interview maybe required for clarification <br />purposes if so determined by the evaluation team. However, only top rated firms <br />will be asked to participate in the interview process. Those demonstrating the best <br />qualifications will then be evaluated on their price proposal. Vendors will be <br />evaluated on: <br />• Qualifications and related experience <br />• Quality of services offered <br />• Completeness of response <br />• References <br />0 Cost <br />
