PARK RENOVATION COMMITTEE RESPONSIBILITY PARK RENOVATION COMMITTEE shall continue to coordinate fund raising events and seek contributions for the renovation of the PARK site. PARK RENOVATION COMMITTEE shall implement the construction drawings and specifications prepared for the PARK, through contracting for such services and/or through volunteer labor and materials. The scope of any volunteer labor shall require the prior approval of the Executive Director the CITY's Recreation and Community Services Director or his designated representative. Either method will require the PARK RENOVATION COMMITTEE or contractor to pull the necessary permits from the Planning and Building Agency and/or Public Works Agency to ensure the project is installed per approved plans and specifications. Prior to construction the PARK RENOVATION COMMITTEE shall secure the PARK with a 6 feet high construction fence around the perimeter of the site and maintain the fence through completion of the project or to such point that the site is determined by the CITY to be in a safe condition. The PARK RENOVATION COMMITTEE proposes to construct the project in various Phases. Phase 1 shall consist of demolition, grading, planter walls, temporary decomposed granite walkway, automatic irrigation system, and landscaping. Phase 2 shall consist of gazebo, entry trellis, concrete walkway, benches, sculpture, and relandscaping of any damaged areas. The PARK RENOVATION COMMITTEE shall submit to the Recreation and Community Services Agency their proposed construction schedule and notify the agency whenever work is being scheduled at the park. The PARK RENOVATION COMMITTEE shall see to it that the site is left in a presentable and safe condition during and after construction. 2
