documents to the PARK RENOVATION COMMITTEE to obtain contract for <br />installation. <br />CITY shall maintain the park during and after completion of <br />the park improvements. <br />II. PARK RENOVATION COMMITTEE RESPONSIBILITY <br />PARK RENOVATION COMMITTEE shall continue to coordinate fund <br />raising events and seek contributions for the renovation of the <br />PARK site. <br />PARK RENOVATION COMMITTEE shall implement the construction <br />drawings and specifications prepared for the PARK, through <br />contracting for such services and/or through volunteer labor and <br />materials. The scope of any volunteer labor shall require the <br />prior approval of the Executive Director the CITY's Recreation <br />and Community Services Director or his designated representative. <br />Either method will require the PARK RENOVATION COMMITTEE or <br />contractor to pull the necessary permits from the Planning and <br />Building Agency and/or Public Works Agency to ensure the project <br />is installed per approved plans and specifications. <br />Prior to construction the PARK RENOVATION COMMITTEE shall <br />secure the PARK with a 6 feet high construction fence around the <br />perimeter of the site and maintain the fence through completion <br />of the project or to such point that the site is determined by <br />the CITY to be in a safe condition. <br />The PARK RENOVATION COMMITTEE proposes to construct the <br />project in various Phases. <br />Phase 1 shall consist of demolition, grading, planter <br />walls, temporary decomposed granite walkway, automatic <br />irrigation system, and landscaping. <br />Phase 2 shall consist of gazebo, entry trellis, <br />concrete walkway, benches, sculpture, and relandscaping <br />of any damaged areas. <br />The PARK RENOVATION COMMITTEE shall submit to the Recreation <br />and Community Services Agency their proposed construction <br />schedule and notify the agency whenever work is being scheduled <br />at the park. <br />The PARK RENOVATION COMMITTEE shall see to it that the site <br />is left in a presentable and safe condition during and after <br />construction. <br />2 <br />
