City of Santa Ana <br />Proposed Sav-on and Live Work Lofts EIR <br />ATTACHMENT A <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />Work Program <br />MBA is prepared to take responsibility for the following and assist the City of Santa Ana <br />(heretofore referred to as the City) to the extent presented in the following scope of work. <br />• Project initiation and organization <br />• Community outreach <br />Legal monitoring and review <br />Response to public comments on the <br />Draft EIR <br />• Data compilation • Public meetings and hearing attendance <br />• Impact assessment. _ __._. _.... • Assistance in the coordination between <br />the the City of Santa Ana and the MBA <br />project team <br />• Development of mitigation measures • Preparation of the findings of fact and <br />statement of overriding considerations <br />• Report compilation and distribution • Preparation of a mitigation monitoring <br />and reporting program <br />Report format and content will be in full compliance with CEQA and the City. CEQA <br />compliance procedures. EIR organization will include existing conditions, impacts, and mitigation <br />measures discussions addressing topical issues. Text will be supplemented with graphics and <br />summary tables to present information in a concise and easily understood format. <br />The proposed scope of work that follows has been organized into major tasks. Refinements to the <br />scope of work, budget, and project schedule will be discussed during the initial task, if needed. <br />Task 1: Project Initiation <br />MBA project manager will meet with the City for the purpose of obtaining information necessary <br />for preparation of complete project and alternatives descriptions, establishing early communication <br />among various project team members, and familiarizing MBA with the issues and concerns <br />identified for analysis. <br />To facilitate this process MBA will: <br />1. Attend an initial orientation meeting with City staff to review the proposed project scope <br />of work and to determine which elements will be included in descriptions of the project <br />and alternatives to the proposed project. <br />2. Receive complete project information, approved by the City, which will be used to <br />develop an EIR project description. Information will include project objectives (including <br />those of the City), land use data and statistical summary, and graphics, <br />3. Receive alternative site criteria, conceptual site plans, land use data, and narrative program <br />descriptions of project alternatives, from the City, that are sufficient to develop the EIR <br />description of project alternatives. <br />CAWINDOWS\Temporary Interne[ Files\OL BI IO\5antaAnasavzon.doc I <br />
