"' Re: the "D" rating on the Traffic EIR/ Traffic is already terrible on Bristol St. between
Segerstrom Ave. all the way down to Sunflower Ave. & beyond.
We are concerned that it will exceed this limit & become an "F" during not only the high -traffic holiday
season, but also peak traffic times during the day.
With the proposed Segerstrom development coming, on top of the proposed Related development
project we are concerned that traffic will be at a standstill most of the time on Bristol St.
We do not need a bike path on Bristol St. that ONLY goes from MacArthur Blvd.- Sunflower Ave.
(the entire length of the Related Development project.)
Very few people ride bikes in this area as it is, mainly the unhoused are the only ones that do.
With the existing bike trails we already have in our area, people only use them as walking/jogging paths.
What we do need instead is....... Bristol 5t. widened in that exact area!
A lighted sign welcoming visitors to the South Coast Metro area.
Shuttle Service exclusively for the Ward 4 stakeholders, to and from their neighborhoods to the
Related Bristol Shopping center & to South Coast Plaza/
Each home in Ward 4 would have to register their names & address to get a pass.
This way, no one from outside Ward 4 could park in our neighborhoods & ride the shuttle over.
Also, it eliminates homeless riding the shuttle.
This would be a thank -you.... to all the stakeholders, & residents living in this area for putting up with the
10-15 years of constant construction that they are going to have to endure because of this Related
Bristol project.
*Residents who no longer drive would also be able to get out & spend money at restaurants and shops
in these shopping centers.
Thus, generating revenue for the city that would otherwise not exist.
**Plus, it would also get more cars off the already congested Bristol St, Sunflower St., & MacArthur
Blvd.
L3.2
L3.3
"' SAPID Police Sub -Station/ With the SCM area already over populated, & and tens of thousands more
being proposed to live in this area. We already have a lack of police presence as it is. L3.4
With this new project, as well as more coming down the pipeline like Segerstrom's, the demand for even
more law enforcement to maintain acceptable service rations & response times will be needed!
"' Formal Name Change/ We would like our postal address name to be changed to South Coast Metro,
CA. Obviously we would still be part of Santa Ana, but we would be called.... South Coast Metro.
Much like how Newport Beach allowed Corona Del Mar to do it. CDM is still part of Newport Beach,
but they were able to change their name to Corona Del Mar.
Most of the businesses in the South Coast Metro area are already using South Coast Metro on their
business cards & formal mail, so residents should be able to as well.
—Two parking spots per rental unit included in the cost of rent, no bundled parking.
L3.5
