<br /> 									SCOPE OF SERVICE
<br /> 								DAILY MAINTENANCE TASKS
<br /> 			I.     GENERAL CLEANING
<br />				Contractor shall remove all litter found and clean unsightly soil from building,
<br />				fixtures, walls, door frames, doors and other surfaces; remove any spilled liquids
<br />				or solids; remove carpet stains; pick up all towels from floor or counters within
<br />				locker rooms and fitness center areas, placing towels in the proper receptacle(s).
<br />			II.     DUSTING BUILDING SURFACES
<br />				Contractor shall remove all dust, lint, cobwebs, debris, dry soil, etc. from surface
<br />				of ledges, window sills, locker tops, and fire extinguishers. This shall include
<br />				counter tops, walls,  ceilings,  door frames and sills,  light switches,  pictures,
<br />				partitions, rails and other types of fixtures and surfaces which are not considered
<br />				as furniture surfaces. This includes atrium wood ledges and specialty equipment
<br />				such as test equipment,  computers,  typewriters,  calculators,  etc., which are
<br />				located anywhere between the floor surface and up to nine (9) feet in height.
<br />				Dusting shall be accomplished by the removal of loose soil from the area - not
<br />				by moving it from one surface to another.
<br />			III.     SPOT CLEANING OF BUILDING SURFACES, FURNITURE AND FIXTURES
<br />				Contractor shall clean to remove smudges, fingerprints, marks, streaks, tape,
<br />				etc., from the surface of ledges, windows and sills, fire extinguishers, counter
<br />				tops, walls,  light fixture holders,  ceiling vents,  doors,  door frames and sills,
<br />				pictures, partitions, rails and other types of fixtures and surfaces. This includes
<br />				all items from the floor surface up to 12 feet in height. Special care is to be taken
<br />				to not permanently mar, scratch, or discolor any surface.
<br />       		IV.     EMPTYING OF ALL RECYCLING FOOD SCRAPS AND TRASSH RECEPTACLES
<br />				Contractor shall comply with the City's requirement to implement a program to
<br />				promote cost-effective waste reduction in all operations and facilities covered by
<br />				this contract. The Contractor's programs shall comply with applicable Federal,
<br />				State, and local requirements, including the following regulations:
<br /> 				4.1 Assembly Bill (AB) 341- requires entities that generate four or more cubic yards of
<br />      				waste per week to arrange for recycling services
<br /> 				4.2 AB 1826 - requires entities that generate four or more cubic yards of waste per week
<br />      				to arrange for recycling of organic waste
<br /> 				4.3 Senate Bill (SB) 1383-shall require municipalities to procure recycled content paper
<br />      				products for at least 75% of annual paper buy and to retain records of all recycled
<br />      				content paper procurement. This requirement includes custodial paper products.
<br />			V.     CITY FACILITY CENTRALIZED RECYCLING PROGRAMS
<br />				In  an  effort  to  comply  with  state  recycling  mandates  (AB  341  and  1826),
<br />				beginning on or before the effective date of this contract, the City will transition
<br />				to a 'centralized' recycling system at all City facilities. The centralized recycling
<br />				system will require all City employees to only dispose of recyclable items at their
