Bennett to permit one room of residence to be used <br /> as office of civil engineer at 1509 South Sycamore Street, subject to <br /> certain conditions. <br /> <br /> On motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Larsen and carried, the <br /> recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and variance <br /> granted to Mark Investment Company to permit a reduction in the front <br /> set-back from 60 feet to 50 feet on Lots i to 36 inclusive, Tract No. <br /> <br /> 1915, facing Ninth and Tenth Streets, west of Hawley Street. <br /> # <br />Communication was re.ad from the Planning Commission advising that <br />consideration was given to a tentative street dedication submitted by <br />George Hasenyager for a proposed extension of East Sixth Street in a <br />westerly direction west of Eastwood Avenue, together with deeds from <br />George and Frleda A. Hasenyager and Harold G. and Helen O. Gooder, one <br />covering the proposed extension and the other covering the portion <br />between said extension and Terminal Street which is a private paved <br />street. On' motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Larsen and carried <br />the communication was received, ft~ed and deeds referred to the <br />Manager and Assistant Engineer for report. <br /> <br />Communication was read from the ~lannlng Commission recommending <br />approval of Tentative Map of TPact No. 2011, submitted by C. DeVote <br />covering property south of Edinger and eas~ of Baker Street, consist- <br />ing of forty-three lots; also, recommending that the Council take <br />necessary steps to have the west side of Baker Street paved which is <br />owned by the Mater Del High School. On motion of Councilman McBride <br />seconded by Larsen and carried, Tentative Map of Tract No. 2011 was <br />refe~ed to the Nanage~ and Assistant Engineer for report as to the <br />possibility of the Mater Del High School paving the west side of Bake: <br />Street. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, Tentativ <br />Map of Tracts No. 2018-19-20, submitted by Baker Development Company, <br />covering property located north of EaSt 17th Street between Grand <br />Avenue and LinwoOd Avenue, consisting of eighty-four lots, were <br />approved subject to the Condition that Claremont Avenue be changed to <br />McClay Street. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Lateen, seconded by McBride and carried, <br />Tentative Map of Tract No. 1939, submitted by Louis Schulman, covering <br />property located north of West Orange Road and west of Flower Street, <br /> <br /> <br />
