CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />SPECIFICATIONS <br />PROJECT NO.: 25-6030 <br />TRAFFIC SIGNAL INSTALLATION AT SEGERSTROM AVENUE AND ROSEWOOD <br />AVENUE <br />an Ethernet switch in the cabinet to establish circuit continuity. The cable shall be <br />installed without damaging the conductors, dielectric or jacket. The cable assembly <br />shall not be kinked or bent tighter than the Manufacturer's recommended bending <br />radius. <br />3. Testing <br />The Contractor shall test and document the installation and operation of all material, <br />equipment, cables and connectors for continuity, shorts or grounds. The Contractor <br />shall also carry out system integration testing to ensure that the video interface and <br />camera interconnect wiring performs to the specified standards when used in operation <br />with all other devices installed under the contract. <br />4. Warranty <br />The Contractor shall provide a warranty for all equipment installed or modified under <br />these projects for the extended warranty period provided by the manufacturer. The <br />warranty shall be 12 months from the time the Agency accepts the Project. The <br />warranty on all parts and equipment used on these projects shall be provided by the <br />manufacturer or agent of the equipment. The Contractor shall provide, at no cost to the <br />Agency, all labor, materials, testing, and equipment required restoring the system to its <br />fully operational condition. Following this warranty period, the Contractor shall assign <br />to the Agency the balance of the manufacturer's warrantees or guarantees on all <br />electrical and mechanical equipment of the system. <br />4.34 IP COMMUNICATION SYSTEM <br />When required by the plan, the contractor shall supply and install necessary equipment to <br />establish communication via IP addressing between the City Advanced Traffic <br />Management System (ATMS) and existing field devices or field devices being installed. <br />- Etherwan Hardened -Managed Fiber Optic Ethernet Switch — EX78934X-OVB w/ Hardened <br />Power Supply (Quantity-- 1) <br />- Etherwan Hardened 1 G BASE SFP Fiber Transceiver — SFPGIS20M (Quantity= 4) <br />- Corning Cable Systems Closet Connector Housing CCH-01U (Quantity--- 2) <br />- Corning Splice Tray (Quantity-- 2) <br />- Corning SC Duplex Connector Panel — CCH-CP12-59 (Quantity= 2) <br />- Fiber Optic Patch Cord — duplex, single -mode — SC to LC connectors — 3 meters (Quantity= <br />4) <br />- CAT-5 Patch Cord - 2 meters (Quantity= 4) <br />4.35 PAYMENT <br />Payment for any items of work required by the plans, the specifications or other reference <br />documents that are not covered by a contract bid item shall be considered as included in <br />other bid items. <br />RX <br />
